Tra stile e colori, una città tutta da scoprire.

Berlino è una città dinamica e movimentata, accogliente e vivibile e al tempo stesso un posto in cui è possibile ritagliarsi del tempo per se stessi. Famosissimi sono i simboli più noti, come la Porta di Brandeburgo, per decenni emblema di divisione, in passato infatti la città era divisa in circoscrizioni più piccole, così come le si trova ancora oggi, fonte interessantissima di negozi e locali particolari… la mia scelta è stata proprio quella di perdermi in questi distretti, esplorandoli e cercando i posti più carini e cool, quelli dal sapore più intimo e romantico.

Style and colors, a city to be discovered.

Berlin is a dynamic and crowded city, welcoming and liveable and at the same time a place where is possible to keep some time for yourself.
Famous are the most knowed symbols, like the Brandeburg Gate, for decadesemblem of division, in the past, infact, the city was separated in little sections, as you can find today as well, interesting source of shops and nice bars… my choice was to loose myself around these districts, exploring and looking for the cutest and coolest places, the most intimate and romantic ones.

KREUZBERG

Si tratta del quartiere più multiculturale e alternativo, che non dorme mai, sempre diverso, che  dopo la riunificazione
divenne meta di immigrati,centro di movimenti punk rock e dei primi squatters.
E’ tutto un fiorire di attività e di locali, in puro stile Berlinese, d’obbligo la passeggiata lungo il Landwehrkanal,
il canale tanto amato dagli abitanti che si concedono lunghe passeggiate.

This is the most multicultural and alternative district, never sleeping, always different, after the reunification
became the destination for a lot of immigrants, and the place for punk rock movements and for the first squatters.
Here there’s a plethora of shops and pubs, in pure Berlin style, it is obligatory to do the walk along the Landwehrkanal, 
beloved by the citizens which allow themselves long strolls.

Proprio a Kreuzberg potete trovare un bellissimo ristorantino vegetariano, Holy Flat!
L’estetica è calda e minimale e dà una sensazione di relax e tranquillità, il menu è essenziale,
ma tutti i piatti sono curati , gustosi, sani, naturali e preparati nel rispetto dell’ambiente.

Right in Kreuzberg you can find a cute vegetarian restaurant, Holy Flat!
The aesthetic is warm and minimal, giving a feeling of relax  and quiteness, the menu is essential,
but the dishes are well cooked, tasty, healty, environmentally-friendly.

Berlino è famosissima per la street art e per i numerosi graffiti che affollano ogni parte della città.
Uno dei miei preferiti è “L’Elefante che gioca con il palloncino” di S.Y.R.U.S , situato sempre a Kreuzberg
nel contesto urbano di un campo da basket, davvero molto bello con i suoi colori forti e vivi.

Berlin is quite famous for street art and for the graffiti in every part of the city.
One of my fave is “Elephant playing with a baloon” by S.Y.R.U.S , always in Kreuzberg in the
cool setting of a basket court, really nice with his vivid and strong colors.

Per tutti gli Instagrammer  la fermata della metro di Hermannplatz è una gioia per gli occhi ,
sembra uscita da un film di Wes Anderson e vi condurrà direttamente a Kreuzberg.

For all the Instagrammers the subway stop of Hermannplatz is very nice to look at,
looks like something out from a Wes Anderson’s movie and will bring you straight to Kreuzberg.

 

MAUERPARK

Questo parco di Berlino ospita ogni domenica un caratteristico Mercatino, potete trovare di tutto: abiti vintage,
chincaglierie, souvenir, dischi usati, mobili, il tutto condito dalla musica di artisti di strada e da
tantissimo street food proveniente da tutto il mondo… e non dimenticate di fare un giro sull’altalena posta
sulla passeggiata al di sopra del parco, il momento hipster che non può mancare!

In this park every Sunday is held a typical Flea Market, where you can find everything: vintage clothing,
fancy goods, souvenirs, second hand disks, furnitures while listening to the music of street performer and
eating a lot of street food from all over the world… don’t forget to go for a ride on the seesaw up on
the hills above the park, the hipster moment you can’t miss!

 

 KAMPS

Godetevi un pretzel con formaggio da Kamps, il posto perfetto per un brunch veloce.
Pratico, economico, comodo in un’atmosfera familiare.

Convenient, cheap, comfortable in a familiar atmosphere.

REICHSTAG DOME

La  sede del grandioso Parlamento (Bundestag) è davvero spettacolare da visitare, soprattutto la moderna cupola, dalla quale si
gode di una visuale privilegiata di tutta la città, raggiungibile attraverso un tortuoso ed affascinante percorso
che vi farà stare tutto il tempo con il naso all’insù.
Già che ci siete consiglio di pranzare al ristorante adiacente, di gran classe ed eleganza, piatti ricercati e
presentati in maniera perfetta.

The headquarters of the magnificent Parliament (Bundestag) is quite impressive to visit, especially the modern dome, from which
you can have a vantage point on the city, reachable through a winding and fascinating path that will make
you stay all the time with your nose turned up.
And while you’re at I recommend to have lunch at the adjacent restaurant, classy and elegant, refined dishes,
served in a perfect way.

URBAN SPREE

 Uno spazio completamente dedicato all’arte e alle culture urbane in ogni loro declinazione, crocevia di giovani
e di artisti, che qui possono trovare una vetrina per il loro lavoro. Un perfetto esempio della vera Berlino,
un polo culturale eccezionale, eccentrico al punto giusto, metropolitano cool.

A space completely dedicated to art and urban cultures in every single declination, junction for young and artists
that can find here a window for their work. A perfect example of the real Berlin,
an exceptional cultural center, eccentric to the right point, metropolitan cool.

THE PUB

Locale caldo e piacevole, dall’atmosfera informale, il cibo è buonissimo, le porzioni
vi lasceranno senza fiato, così come i sapori. La chicca in più?
Spillatrice  per la birra direttamente al vostro tavolo!

Warm and easy pub, casual atmosphere, the food is really good, the portions will
leave you breathless, so as the tastes. Something special?
You have the stapler at your table!

NATURAL SCIENCE MUSEUM

Merita una visita anche solo per l’enorme scheletro di dinosauro che troneggia nella prima sala, imponente e maestoso.
Ottimo per grandi e piccini  ha una grande varietà di materiale, disposto in numerose sale, tra cui
minerali, pianeti, gemme, spiegato in modo interessante in maniera multimediale.

Worth a visit even just for the big dinosaur’s skeleton dominating the first room, wide and majestic.
Perfect for adults and children it has a big selection of material, organized into several rooms, you can find
minerals, planets, gems, everything explained  in a interesting way through multimedia support.

THE TREE

Un intimo angolo di Giappone nel cuore di Berlino. L’estetica è minimale e raffinata, a primo impatto può spaventare,
il locale è in realtà molto piacevole da vivere, i piatti propongono gusti diversi dal solito e sono abbondanti,
il servizio è ottimo e le cameriere non ci hanno mai risparmiato un bel sorriso.

A romantic corner of Japan in the heart of Berlin. The aesthetic is minimal and refined, at first it can be alarming,
but actually this place is enjoyable to live, the dish are tasty and plentiful and different from usual,
the service is perfect and the waitresses never forgot to smile at us.
