CityWalk and BoxPark : the cool heart of Dubai.

ITA: Seconda puntata del nostro viaggio negli Emirati, oggi vi porto a spasso per le aree di BoxPark e CityWalk, due delle cose che mi hanno più colpita.
City Walk  è un vero e proprio centro commerciale a cielo aperto con negozi e locali di alto livello dall’aspetto contemporaneo, situati in una location unica, nel cuore del quartiere Jumeirah, dall’aria europeggiante e dallo stile cool. La street art qui riveste un ruolo importante ed è la cornice perfetta, che da un tocco di colore inaspettato.
Un luogo frequentato principalmente da persone del posto  dove poter passeggiare attraverso gli ampi viali alberati in una bellissima atmosfera ammirando le moderne architetture e le fontane che creano spettacolari giochi d’acqua… mix vincente!

ENG: Second episode of our travel to the Emirates, today I carry you around the areas of BoxPark and CityWalk, two of the things that impressed me the most.
City Walk is a real open air shopping center with high profiled shops and restaurants, looking quite contemporary. Located in a unique place, in the heart of Jumeirah’s district, where you can feel the european vibe and the cool style. Street art here is quite important and it’s the perfect framework, giving an unexpected touch of color.
Mostly for locals here you can have a walk through the big tree-lined promenade, while admiring the modern architectures and the fountains  showing incredible water games…  the atmosphere is beautiful, a total winning mix!

ITA: BoxPark è stata probabilmente la sorpresa più grande nel visitare Dubai: immaginate un’area completamente costruita con container dai colori sgargianti, che ospitano svariati negozi e piccoli ristorantini, tutti assolutamente raffinati e curatissimi nell’estetica. Un piccolo gioiello, una configurazione unica e un concetto nuovo, perfetto per vivere la città.
Ci siamo fermati al Cafè Des Artistes, ideale per fare merenda e bere un caffè in un’atmosfera delicata e chic, sembra studiato per offrire  ai clienti una vera e propria esperienza… a completare il tutto dessert deliziosi!

ENG: BoxPark has probably been the biggest surprise visiting Dubai: imagine an area completely made of colorful containers, inside of which there are several shops and little restaurants, all of them absolutely polished and elegant. An hidden gem, a unique aesthetic and a new concept, perfect to live the city.
We stopped at the Cafè Des Artistes, ideal to have a snack and drink a coffee in a soft and chic atmosphere, it seems designed to offer to guests a real experience… to bring the whole thing together desserts are delicious!
