ITA: Kemi, piccola città portuale sul Golfo di Botnia, è la destinazione adatta per godersi la versione più tranquilla e local della Lapponia. I collegamenti sono eccellenti, dista circa un’ora di treno da Rovaniemi, buoni i servizi per i turisti e diverse le attività che qui è possibile fare.
In inverno il mare si ghiaccia completamente, lasciando il posto ad una distesa che vi lascerà senza parole. Qui respirerete le vere atmosfere del Nord.

ENG: Kemi, little port city on the Gulf of Bothnia, is the perfect destination to enjoy a quite and local side of Lapland. The connections are excellent, the city it’s about one hour by train from Rovaniemi, services for the tourists are good and here it’s also possible to do several different activities.
In winter the sea is completely frozen, making way for a tract that will leave you speechless. Here you will breathe the real nordic atmospheres.

ITA: Il nostro soggiorno a Kemi è stato reso ancora più piacevole dalle Seaside Glass Villas, il posto dove abbiamo pernottato. Immaginate delle fantastiche casettine in legno con una vista meravigliosa su uno scenario da cartolina invernale che potrete ammirare grazie alle immense vetrate… con la possibilità di dormire sotto l’aurora boreale!
Vicino al complesso dell’hotel c’è il ristorante di neve, dove abbiamo fatto una delle cene più strane e divertenti di sempre in un contesto fuori dal mondo… sicuramente un’esperienza particolare!

ENG: Our stay in Kemi has been made even more pleasant by the Seaside Glass Villas, the place where we spent the nights. Imagine some beautiful little wooden houses with a breathtaking view over a postcard style winter scenery that you can admire thanks to the big windows… you also get the chance to sleep under the nothern lights!
Near the hotel building there’s the snow restaurant, where we had one of the strangest and funniest  dinners  ever, in a location which is out of this world… truly a particular experience!

ITA: La maestosa nave rompighiaccio Sampo vi ospiterà per una crociera unica: il suono fragoroso di oltre 3.500 tonnellate di acciaio che frantumano le spesse lastre di ghiaccio del Golfo di Botnia lascerà a bocca aperta anche i navigatori più avvezzi.
Oltre a un tour guidato della nave, alla scoperta dei suoi segreti e delle sale più importanti, la cosa più elettrizzante da fare è una nuotata nel mare gelato. Sì, avete capito bene, ma non preoccupatevi: vi verrà fornita una muta di sopravvivenza completamente impermeabile e calda. Ovviamente il bagno non è obbligatorio, ma espressamente consigliato. Fidatevi.
