ITA:  Sulle coste nord del Golfo di Bothnia si trova la piccola cittadina di Kemi, famosa per il popolare Castello di Neve, che viene costruito ogni inverno dal 1996 ed è il più grande al mondo. L’abbiamo facilmente raggiunta in treno, partendo da Rovaniemi, siamo arrivati in un’ora e mezza, i collegamenti sono semplici e organizzati. Si tratta di un posto tranquillo, che mi ha dato una sensazione di assoluto relax… il luogo ideale per disconnettersi dal resto del mondo.

ENG:  In the northernmost shores of the Gulf of Bothnia lie the towns of Kemi , famous for the magnificent SnowCastle that is built there every winter since 1996 and is the largest snow building in the world. We easily reached it by train , leaving from Rovaniemi, we got there in one hour and half, connections are easy and straight. It’s a quiet place, I had a feeling of incredible relaxation… the ideal place to disconnect from the rest of the world.

ITA: Il periodo estivo è l’ideale per fare lunghe passeggiate in mezzo alla natura verdeggiante, magari costeggiando il mare e godendosi la sua brezza. Potete inoltre noleggiare una bici ed esplorare la cittadina pedalando, raggiungendo i diversi punti in cui è collocata la street art… può essere un modo divertente per vivere appieno l’atmosfera di questi posti.
Altra opzione è quella del Kayak: potrete vedere Kemi da una prospettiva diversa e allo stesso tempo stare a contatto con gli elementi.

ENG:  Summertime is ideal to take long walks through the green nature, better if you go along the sea, enjoying the breeze. You can also rent a bike and explore the little city cycling around, reaching the different points where street art is located… that’s a nice way to fully experience the atmosphere of this place.
Another option is Kayak: you can see Kemi from a different perspective and, at the same time, being in contact with the elements.
