Siamo giunti all’ultima puntata del viaggio che ci ha portati alla scoperta di Benidorm: in questo episodio vivremo la città in un modo calmo e rilassante e scopriremo che anche da questo punto di vista ha davvero molto da offrire.
La visita all’azienda Vinicola di Enrique Mendoza è stata l’opportunità perfetta per vedere Benidorm sotto un’altra luce.  La “Bodega” è una struttura elegante e raffinata, attorniata dai filari di uva e da spazi molto verdi… un piacere per gli occhi.
Le affascinanti cantine si snodano sottoterra, lungo percorsi intricati, come un piccolo labirinto, e ovunque si respira il profumo del vino, che abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaggiare. I miei preferiti? Rosè dal retrogusto Fragola – Banana, una vera prelibatezza, insieme al moscatello finale, più intenso e corposo.

So we’ve come to the final episode of the travel that brought us to discover Benidorm: here we will experience the city in a calm and relaxing way and we will find out that even from this point of view it has a lot to offer.
The visit to the Enrique Mendoza wine company has been the perfect opportunity  to see Benidorm differently. The “Bodega” is a elegant and classy building, surrounded by wine grapes and green fields… pleasing the eye.
The charming wineries are running underground through twisted paths, like a small labyrinth, and everywhere you can smell the scent of wine, that we’ve had the pleasure to taste. My faves? Rosè with a strawberry and banana aftertaste together with the final moscatello, more intense and earthy.

La mattinata è proseguita al Melia Villaitana Golf Club, una location di altissimo livello realizzata nello stile mediterraneo con vista mozzafiato sulla Costa Blanca, situata in una zona collinare poco fuori dalla città.  Ci siamo fatti coccolare con un aperitivo nella meravigliosa terrazza, immersi nel verde e nel silenzio, per poi prendere le nostre buggies e partire per i campi da golf, che si estendono a perdita d’occhio… non ho l’atteggiamento di una vera professionista?

The morning has continued to the Melia Villaitana Golf Club, a high-quality location realized in a mediterranean style, with a breathtaking view on the Costa Blanca and located in the hilly area near the city. We have been pampered with a cocktail in the beautiful terrace, immersed in the green and in the silence, then we took our buggies to visit the golf courses, which groves stretch as far as the eye can see… do I look like a professional?

Non si può dire Spagna senza dire anche…Paella! La porzione più grande che io abbia mai mangiato è quella del Ristorante Ulia, posto sulla via principale di Benidorm, con vista mare… cosa si può volere di più dalla vita? Dopo il pranzo pronti per ripartire! La città offre moltissimi punti panoramici, ma noi ne abbiamo trovato uno davvero speciale “Tossal de la cala”, anche se la via per raggiungerlo è un pò impervia 🙂

You can’t say Spain without also saying…Paella! The biggest portion I’ve ever ate is the one of Ulia Restaurant, on the main street of Benidorm, facing the sea… what more does one want in life? After lunch ready to go! The city  offers a lot of viewpoints, but we’ve found a very special one “Tossal de la cala”, even if the path is a little bit rocky 🙂

Cosa si fa a Benidorm quando cala la sera? Noi siamo stati ospiti del Planta 20 Lounge Bar, un locale molto chic e stiloso, da cui si gode di un’impressionante vista sulla costa… il tutto con un buon drink in mano. La serata è proseguita a cena, qualche piano più su, tra delicati manicaretti e un buon bicchiere di vino.
Insomma, questa città ci è davvero piaciuta e ci ha dato un feeling frizzante, vivo, dinamico, come se potesse soddisfare le esigenze di persone molto diverse tra di loro… credo proprio che avrò bisogno di tornarci per scoprirlo 🙂

What do you do in Benidorm at night? We have been guests of Planta 20 Lounge Bar, a chic and stylish bar from where you can enjoy an impressive view on the coast… with a tasty drink in your hands. Our evening  has continued for dinner, a few floors up, with delicious dishes and a good glass of wine.
In short we really liked this city, because it gave us a sparkling, powerful, dynamic feeling, the capacity to satisfy different kinds of people… I think we will come back soon 🙂
