ITA: Ho avuto la possibilità di goderci al meglio la tranquillità di Kemi grazie ad una sistemazione d’eccezione: le Seaside Glass Villas.  Per me è stato davvero un sogno ad occhi aperti! Immaginate una accogliente casa arredata in stile nordico, pulito, bianco e minimale, con dei dettagli che la rendono familiare… bene, ecco la descrizione del posto dove ho soggiornato, immersa nella tranquillità di un’area che si getta direttamente sul Golfo di Botnia. La chicca in più? Il fatto che la nostra casetta fosse interamente realizzata in vetro, in modo da garantirci una totale sull’ambiente circostante.

ENG: I had the chance to enjoy the quietness of Kemi at its best thanks to a wonderful accomodation: Seaside Glass Villas.    It was a daydream to me! Imagine a cosy house, furnished in nordic, clean , white and minimal style, with some details making it  familiar… well, here’s the description of the place where I spent my nights, soaking in the calmness of an area facing the Gulf of Bothnia. The little extra?
Our house was entirely made by glass, so we had a panoramic view on the outside.

ITA: L’esperienza culinaria più interessante è stata sicuramente al Ristorante Pursiseura, posizionato nella zona portuale, con una splendida vista mare.  Abbiamo voluto rischiare e, tra le altre cose, abbiamo ordinato una pizza con renna, pesca, cipolla rossa e formaggio… a grande sorpresa l’ho trovata deliziosa! Decisamente consigliata se avete voglia di sperimentare un pò con i sapori.

ENG:  We had the most interesting culinary experience at the Pursiseura Restaurant, located in the harbour district, with a beautiful view on the sea. We wanted to take a chance and we decided to order, among other things, a pizza with reindeer, peach, red onion and bread cheese… most surprisingly to me I found it delicious! Totally recommended if you want to experiment different tastes.

ITA: A Kemi ho davvero trovato il relax, questa sensazione si percepisce ovunque, nei panorami, nei colori, nell’atmosfera, nelle persone. Prendere un caffè nelle deliziose casette in legno è l’attività perfetta per completare il vostro soggiorno. Consiglio in particolare il Caffè della Stazione, autentico  e molto locale, la cornice migliore per prendersi una pausa o per ingannare l’attesa del treno 😉

ENG: In Kemi I really found relax, you can feel this mood  all the time, in the landscapes, in the colors, in the atmosphere, in people.  Having a coffee in the lovely wooden houses is the perfect activity to spice up your stay here. I particularly recommend the Cafè of the Station, authentic and also local, the ideal setting to take a break or maybe waiting for the next train 😉
