From the desert to amusement parks…

 

 

ITA: L’hotel scelto per il nostro soggiorno è stato il Rixos The Palm,posizionato appunto a “The Palm” un arcipelago artificiale che si estende nel golfo persiano. Il Rixos, che è praticamente un resort, è dotato di tutti i comfort, immerso nella tranquillità di una delle zone più belle della città. Dalla nostra stanza con vista piscina e mare potevamo godere di una visuale sullo skyline di Dubai… unico!

ENG: The hotel for our stay was the Rixos The Palm, located at “The Palm”, artificial archipelago spreading into the persian gulf. Rixos, which is basically a resort, has all the comforts you need, immersed in the quietness of one of the most beautiful areas of the city. From our room we had the view of the pool and the sea, but also a gorgeous sight on the Dubai’s skyline… pretty unique!

ITA: Per la prima tappa della giornata ci spostiamo nella zona di city walk, ispirato alle strade europee è il luogo perfetto per fare una passeggiata rilassante, o per lo shopping e la ristorazione. Qui si trova il Green Planet, una foresta tropicale che ospita più di 3000 piante e animali, in una struttura ampia, moderna e ariosa.
Per la prima volta ho visto un bradipo da vicino… è così buffo!

ENG: First stop of the day and we move into the city walk district, inspired to european streets is the perfect place to walk and relax, or for shopping and restaurants. Here there is the Green Planet, an indoor tropical rainforest with over 3,000 plants and animals, the building itself is big, modern and airy.
I saw a sloth for the first time so close… he’s quite funny!

ITA: Cercate un modo per evadere dalla città? Un’escursione nel deserto è inevitabile. Noi ci siamo affidati a Platinum Heritage e abbiamo scelto di vivere un’esperienza completa, facendo il  safari con le jeep  e cena nell’accampamento beduino. Il tour occupa tutto il pomeriggio, dalle 15 fino alle 21.00 di sera, ma è davvero un bellissimo modo di gustarsi un altro aspetto della città.
Il deserto è libertà ed estrema bellezza, camminare sulla sabbia setosa è una sensazione unica. Cenare nell’accampamento beduino con le pietanze tipiche, cucinate al momento, è poi la degna conclusione. Assolutamente soddisfatta!

ENG: Are you looking for a way to escape the city? The excursion into the desert it’s what you need. We entrusted Platinum Heritage and chose to live a complete experience, safari with jeeps and having dinner into the bedouin campsite. The tour will took you the entire afternoon, from 15 to 21.00, more or less, but it’s a really beautiful way to enjoy another side of the city.
The desert is freedom and pure beauty, walking on the silky sand is a unique feeling. Having dinner into the bedouin camp with their typical food, cooked at the moment, is then the perfect ending.
I’m so satisfied!

ITA: Nuovo giorno, nuove esperienze! La nostra mattinata è iniziata con un tour guidato  in motoscafo insieme a Hero Dubai! Siamo diventati capitani per un giorno, guidando la nostra imbarcazione a largo della Palma. Si tratta di un’ottima alternativa alla classica passeggiata, avrete modo di vedere più da vicino alcuni dei simboli della città, come il famosissimo hotel a 7 stelle, il Burj Al Arab. Divertimento garantito, abiti impermeabili consigliati!

ENG: New day, new experiences! Our morning started with a boat guided tour together with Hero Dubai!  We became  Captains for the day, driving our own Hero boat around the Palm.
It’s an excellent alternative to the classic walk, you will see some of the symbols of the city closer, such as the famous 7 stars hotel, the Burj Al Arab. Guaranteed fun, waterproof clothes recommended!

ITA: Dubai è perfetta per grandi e piccini e abbiamo voluto sperimentare anche la bellezza dei suoi Parchi Divertimenti! Legoland, Bollywood e Motion Gate, tre diversi parchi per tre diversi target.
Legoland è dedicato ai bambini, si passeggia molto e ci sono diversi negozi dove è possibile comprare il merchandising, in più troverete una splendida area dove Dubai è stata ricostruita… interamente in Lego!
Bollywood è legato all’estetica indiana, ci sono molti show e spettacoli, con professionisti che coinvolgono il pubblico, facendolo scatenare nelle danze.
Motion gate, infine, è ispirato all’animazione Dream Works, troverete le attrazioni più adrenaliniche, come per esempio molte montagne russe al coperto, ambientate nel mondo dei più famosi film d’animazione.

ENG: Dubai is perfect for all the family and we wanted to try her gorgeous Amusement Parks! Legoland, Bollywood and Motion Gate, three different parks for three different targets.
Legoland is dedicated to children, you can walk a lot and there are a lot of shops where it is possible to buy official merchandising, furthermore  you will find a beautiful area where they completely rebuilt Dubai… in Lego!
Bollywood is inspired to the indian aesthetic, with several shows and music performances, with dancers encouraging people to run wild on the dance floor.
Then Motion gate, the world of Dream Works animation, here you will find more adrenalinic attractions, such for example a few  indoor rollercoasters.

ITA: E se c’è un modo fantastico di concludere la giornata, prima di sprofondare nel letto, è di concedersi una passeggiata notturna a Dubai Marina, la perla della città. Tra luci, grattacieli immensi e riflessi che si specchiano nell’acqua questo quartiere vi farà subito innamorare… un pò come è successo a me.
Piccolo consiglio gastronomico, il Pier 7!

ENG: And if there’s a fantastic way to end your day, before dying in your bed, is to allow yourself a night walk around Dubai Marina, the gem of the city. Lights, huge skyscrapers and reflections  in the water. You will fall in love with this gorgeous district… almost like it happened to me.
