Nature and fashion: a perfect mix!

ITA: Lanzarote Fashion Weekend, alla sua prima edizione, ha celebrato la moda di Custo Barcelona, che, insieme alla retrospettiva della collezione di NY, ha presentato in anteprima assoluta la collezione Cruise 2019.
Il tunnel vulcanico Jameos del Agua, palcoscenico unico al mondo nel suo genere, dove arte e natura si incontrano, ha ospitato, per la prima volta nella storia, il fashion show del brand spagnolo  ispirato dall’isola di Lanzarote.
La collezione Cruise 2019 riflette lo spirito dell’isola , prendendo ispirazione dai suoi colori e dalle sue forme:  la sabbia del deserto più arido, l’argento delle acque e le combinazioni di lava scura con le infinite sfumature di colori della  vegetazione rigogliosa. Il designer ha anche incorporato, in alcune delle sue creazioni, il rosone, simbolo del lavoro artigianale dell’isola.
Gli abiti, sia mini sia maxi, sono le vere star della collezione, con volumi che vanno da fitted a oversize, realizzati con patchwork di tessuti  che spaziano dalla seta pregiata, al jacquard, all’iridescente nylon, fino al pizzo. La luce é protagonista, giocando con elementi metallici in oro, argento e rosa.

ENG: Lanzarote Fashion Weekend, at his first edition, celebrated the fashion of Custo Barcelona, which has shown a preview of the Cruise collection 2019, together with a retrospective on the collection of NY.
The Volcanic tunnel Jameos del Agua , a one of a kind stage in the world,  was the location  chosen for the show of the spanish brand, inspired by the island of Lanzarote ,where art and nature blend together.
The Cruise 2019 collection reflets the spirit of the island, getting inspiration from the colors and the shapes: the sand of the dry desert, the silver of water and the dark lava together with the colors of the green nature. The designer even embodied into some of his creations the rose window, symbol of the craftsmanship of the island.
The dresses, mini and maxi, are the main stars of the collection, their volumes goes from fitted  to oversize, realized with patchwork of fabrics such as silk, jacquard, iridescent nylon or lace. Light is the keyword, playing with the metallic elements in gold, silver, pink.
