The emotion of living the sea

Avete presente quella sensazione di estrema libertà e relax  che si prova quando si è a contatto con la natura? Bene, io l’ho respirata a fondo durante i tre giorni che ho trascorso a Trieste, in occasione della storica regata Barcolana, in compagnia di Slam, main sponsor dell’evento.
Finalmente ho avuto modo di visitare questa splendida città, colma di storia e meravigliosa nella sua estetica.

Do you know that feeling of extreme freedom and relax that you get when you are in contact with nature? Well, I’ve felt it during the three days I’ve spent in Trieste, for the historical Barcolana regatta, together with Slam, main sponsor of the event.
Finally I had the pleasure to visit this lovely city, rich of history and with a gorgeous aesthetic.

E’ stata un’esperienza fantastica, con una compagnia d’eccezione, per la prima volta sono salita su una barca a vela, quella di Furio Benussi, del team Fast&Furio.
Il vento tra i capelli, la fresca brezza, i movimenti dell’equipaggio e la loro perfetta sincronia a bordo…ogni cosa perfettamente al suo posto, persino il cielo terso e grigio, un’atmosfera malinconica e nostalgica.

It has been a perfect experience, with exceptional people, and for the first time I went on a sail boat, the Furio Benussi’s one, from Fast&Furio team.
The wind in my hair, the fresh breeze, the movements of the crew and their synchrony on board… everything was perfect, so as the grey sky, a melancholic and nostalgic atmosphere.

Il nostro programma prevedeva anche la visita alla splendida Ancilla Domini, sulla quale siamo state immortalate per un breve shooting fotografico, sotto gli sguardi curiosi dei passanti .

Our schedule was also expecting a visit on board of the gorgeous Ancilla Domini, where we did a quick shooting, under the curious eyes of people passing by.

L’emozione più grande è stata senza dubbio cavalcare le onde in gommone , per seguire  la partenza della regata, completamente circondati dalle barche a vela, il tutto sotto l’attento controllo del nostro Fabrizio, che con competenza ci ha spiegato tantissime curiosità sul mondo nautico, mentre restavamo aggiornate live con i progressi della gara, costantemente connesse!
Nessun pericolo di prendere freddo, grazie al total look Slam che mi ha tenuta al caldo 😛
E volete sapere un’ultima cosa? Il nostro team si è aggiudicato la vittoria, trionfando su tutti gli altri 😉

The biggest emotion was without a doubt riding the waves on the rubber boat, following the start of the regatta, completely surrounded by the sail boats, under the careful sight of our Fabrizio, he was explaining us with a lot of knowledge a lot of curiosities about navigation, while being updated on the competition, constantly connected!
And you know what? Our team won, first to cross the finish line 😉
