Siamo andati a Parigi per un motivo molto speciale…
We went to Paris for a very special reason…

ITA: Una visita del tutto speciale alla sede di Vente-Privee e ai tre edifici che lo compongono, all’interno dei quali si respira divertimento, stile, creatività.
Le Vérone è stato quello da cui tutto è iniziato: collocato nel quartiere di Saint Denis, vicino allo stade De France, si tratta di una struttura colossale ed imponente che ospita gli uffici dell’azienda francese.
Il nome è un omaggio dal presidente e fondatore dell’azienda Jacques-Antoine Granjon a Pucci de Rossi, scultore  e designer originario di Verona, scomparso nel giugno del 2013 che ha progettato l’intera facciata, ormai diventata un monumento e attrazione turistica. E proprio questa è la grande protagonista. Ricoperta da una rete di calcestruzzo fibrorinforzato che segue il motivo messo a punto dal suo ideatore, è illuminata con 1950 punti a LED e uno schermo ad alta risoluzione che mette in mostra opere digitali e visive, il più grande d’Europa con i suoi 102 metri quadrati.
Dall’amore per l’arte di Granjon nasce l’idea di ospitare nell’edificio anche veri e propri pezzi da museo, come il bancone della hall, disegnato dall’artista israeliano Ron Arad, o la statua del Cyclope di Thomas Houseago, scultura in bronzo alta 4 metri che domina l’ingresso principale o la Black Palm Saint-Tropez di Douglas White.

ENG: A very special visit to the headquarters of Vente-Privee  and the other  three different buildings, where you can breathe fun, style, creativity.
Le Vérone is the one where everything started: located in the Saint Denis distric, near the stade de France, it’s a big and impressive building which is home to the offices of the company.
The name a tribute from the president and founder of the company Jaccques-Antoine Granjon to Pucci de Rossi, sculptor and designer originally from Verone, who went missing in june 2013, which designed the entire facade, now become a monument and tourist attraction. And that facade is the big protagonist. Covered by a net of fiber-reiforced concrete following the texture developed by his creator, is lightened with 1950 LED points and a high definition display which is always showing digital and visual artworks, the biggest in Europe with his 102 square metres.
From the love of art of Granjon the whole idea of also keeping  in the building  some museum pieces, as the desk in the hall, designed by the israelian artist Ron Arad, or the Cyclope statue by Thomas Houseago, bronze scultpure 4 metres high dominating the main entrance, or the Black Palm Saint Tropez by Douglas White.

ITA: La digital  factory è il secondo edificio che abbiamo visitato: qui si svolge la maggior parte degli shooting fotografici, gli studi sono più di 60 e funzionano contemporaneamente.
E’ uno spazio pieno di giovani che si confrontano e lavorano insieme, condividendo le idee e dando ad esse forma… un ambiente smart e molto stimolante, perfetto per le menti fuori dagli schemi.

ENG: The Digital Factory is the second building we visited: here the most part of fashion shootings is held, there are more than 60 photo studios, working at the same time.
This space is full of young people everyday confronting each other and working together, sharing ideas and making them come true… a smart and exciting environment, perfect for minds out of the box.

ITA: Il terzo, ed ultimo, edificio prende il nome di Wilson! E’ un luogo molto speciale, essendo stato il primo ad essere costruito… pensate che originariamente ospitava le tipografie del giornale Le Monde! Oggi qui ci sono gli uffici dirigenziali e si possono trovare moltissime delle opere d’arte custodite da vente-privee. E’ un piacere aggirarsi per i corridoi  e guardarsi intorno.
Le sorprese però non sono finite!  All’interno della struttura è presente uno studio di registrazione, dove vengono prodotte le tracce audio e le colonne sonore per le campagne di Vente prive… noi ci siamo divertiti  a strimpellare qualcosa 😉

ENG:  The third, and last building, is named Wilson! It’s a very special one, since it has been the first one to be built… originally that was the place for the printers of Le Monde newspaper! Today this is the bulding that hosts the executive offices and you can find several of the art pieces  in vente-privee. It’s so pleasant to walk through the hallways looking around.
More surprises to come! Inside the building there’s a recording studio, where they produce audio tracks and songs for the Vente Privee advertising… we had such a great time trying to play a few instruments 😉
